Sophia Saintsbury-Green (d. 1939) Sophia Saintsbury-Green was an early and dedicated student of the Sufi teacher Hazrat Inayat Khan, earning a position of trust and responsibility in the order he founded. A writer and a poet whose writings were inspired by her studies and experiences with her teacher, she was the first ordained conductor of the interfaith Universal Worship services, founded in London In 1921 by Hazrat Inayat Khan.
